An open and friendly club where everyone is welcome

The Coastal Physie Club was founded on the Central Coast in 2011. We pride ourselves on being an open and friendly club at which everyone is welcome. We aim to provide an environment where we cater for both competitive and non-competitive members. With separate classes for fitness and friendship as well as performance classes for those with competition goals.

Kristen Duff

Head Teacher

Kristen has been a Physie girl since she was 3 years old and has competed in all levels of competition.

She has been a part of many placing teams and placed individually at zone competitions making it to national titles, and has reached the final at nationals three times.

Kristen is a proud mum and Psychologist who works with children and families as her occupation. Kristen teaches the 13 years – 1st Year Seniors and Open Ladies.

Fiona Levett

Associate Teacher

Fiona has been a physie girl since she was 7.

Fiona has competed in all levels of competitions. From a young age she has been part of many placing teams and has competed at nationals as a Junior and a Lady.

Fiona is a proud physie mum of 2 girls and is a very passionate personal trainer running her own business.

Fiona (Miss Fee) teaches 5 to 8 years.

Mollie Andersen

Associate Teacher

Mollie has been assistant teaching for The Coastal Club as a Junior Associate since 2015, and teaches the 9-12 year age group and the 3-4 year old Physie Fairies.

Mollie is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher and Physie girl who has beautiful relationships with all of her students. She is a recent graduate from UTS with a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and is a wonderful role model to our junior club.

Kristy Hudson

Associate Teacher

Kristy started physie as soon as she could walk, and comes from a physie family, following her mum and grandma’s foot steps along with her 2 sisters.  

Kristy has competed at a national level since the age of 6 and has been lucky enough to be in the national final close to 30 times, taking a national place 6 times and becoming national champion 5 times.

The highlight was challenging 3 times, competing in Grande on several occasions and sharing The Opera House stage with her sister in 2012 Grande. 

She has been a BJP associate since 2011 however has taught dancing and physie since she was 15. In 2018 Kristy was honoured to be offered the role of Central Coast Zone Choreographer & Coordinator for BJP’s 125 year spectacular. 

Outside of physie Kristy works with her husband at their family owned business Level Electrical West Gosford after retiring from a 15 year dancing and singing career.

Kristy will be teaching the Seniors section and can’t wait to join The Coastal Physie teaching team in 2023!

Bec Bennett

Associate Teacher

Bec has been a Physie girl since she was 3 years old and has competed as a Junior and a Lady.

She has been a part of many placing teams and has placed individually at zone competitions, making it to national titles. She has reached the final at nationals 5 times, and been lucky enough to gain 4 national places as a Novice and Intermediate Lady, winning twice!

Bec is a mum to 2, a Digital Media Designer and a TAFE teacher. She teaches Novice & Intermediate Ladies.

Alexandria Garrett

Relief Assistant Associate Teacher

Alexandria has been a Physie girl since she was 3 years old and has competed in all levels of competition. She has been a part of many placing teams and has placed individually at zone competitions, making it to national titles.

Alexandria has also reached the Senior Opera House National Final twice, is a proud mum and beauty therapist, and co-founded the The Coastal Physie Club with Kristen in 2011.
